This is a product of Thailand and a classic oriental style instant noodle pack. Also, these seem to be vegetarian! But please check for yourself.
The back of the packet shows the soup method and that too with instructions in Thai. I however was in the mood for some non-soupy instant noodles. Here is what I did –
- Put noodles in 300ml of boiling water.
- Drain noodles (leave about 2-3 tbsp of water) and place in a bowl.
- Add sauce powder. Stir well and serve.
Soy flavored noodle block, tasty even raw.
Surprise surprise! This tiny packet has THREE tiny packets of seasonings within it!
- The seasoning powder – has a garlicky aroma.
- The seasoning oil – this has an oniony aroma to it.
- Last the chilli powder!
This is what comfort noods should taste like! Good flavorful springy noodles with a balance of garlicky and oniony taste. And on top of that, there is an underlying spiciness to it which works really well for me.
Since the packet was small I decided to put a fried egg on it and make a meal out of it!
