46. Maggi Oats Noodles Masala


This has been on my list for a while now, not because they are supposed to be healthier but because everyone has really good things to say about these ones. #curious


So technically these are not healthier than regular Maggi. Meh.

Cooking Instructions –

  1. Break the noodle cake into four parts.
  2. Add noodles and tastemaker to 210ml (approx. 1 ½ tea cups) of boiling water.
  3. Cook for 2 minutes in an open pan. Stir occasionally. Do not drain remaining water.


 Not the prettiest looking noodle block and the seasoning powder (or the tastemaker) seems to be standard Maggi seasoning but with the addition of – green bell peppers, carrot flakes and onion flakes!

So, what it lacks in looks it makes up in taste! These are yummy.

Very similar to the original Maggi masala but yet different. All veggies re hydrated well and specially the onion flakes. Love the flavor these onion flakes add to these noodles. The noodles definitely taste different because of the fact that these are made from oats but different in a good way.

Pro tip: remove the pan from stove while little water is still left because you don’t want to make them noods too dry.
